Mechanical Seam Roofs are a concealed fastener standing seam system installed with a clip. However, these systems require each panel to be seamed to one another using either manual or automated seamers. The panels are roll formed and their edges line up together. A mechanical seamer bends the edges of the panels and locks them together. The legs of this panel can be seamed to 90 Degrees (also known as single lock) or 180 Degrees (also known as double lock). The degree of the seam is dependent on the amount of uplift requirement determined by your local building municipality. These panels are known for their incredible strength and usually more common on commercial buildings or in higher wind zones.
