Featuring a 16” coverage width and ⅞” rib height, it installs over solid substrates using a concealed fastener leg, minimizing the risk of leaks and enhancing curb appeal. Its flat surface and vertical seams create a modern look ideal for residential and light commercial applications. Made from Galvalume® coated steel and available in 26 or 24 gauge, or .032” aluminum, MaxLoc100™ is finished with Sherwin-Williams WeatherXL™ for long-lasting color and durability. It’s the more economical of MetalMax’s five standing seam profiles.
The MaxSeam175™ panel offers a premium standing seam solution with a bold architectural profile. With up to 18” coverage and an impressive 1¾” rib height, it delivers a high-end appearance while maintaining superior weather-tightness. Installed over solid substrates using a hidden clip system, MaxSeam175™ allows for thermal expansion and contraction, making it ideal for climates with extreme temperature shifts. Crafted from Galvalume® coated steel in 26 or 24 gauge, or .032” and .040” aluminum, and finished with Sherwin-Williams WeatherXL™, this panel is perfect for upscale residential, commercial, or institutional projects where performance and style matter.

PANEL SURFACE PROFILES
Our standing seam panels can be manufactured with a variety of surface profiles designed to improve panel rigidity and help prevent oil‑canning, the visible waviness that can appear in flat metal surfaces due to expansion, contraction, or installation stresses. Adding surface profiles introduces subtle breaks in the pan that diffuse light and reduce reflective distortion, creating a smoother, more consistent appearance across the roof or wall. For the greatest stability and the most effective oil‑canning prevention, striations are the preferred choice due to their high level of rigidity.
